My research focuseson Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a blinding eye disease thataffects many premature infants. Specifically, I strive to understand: 1) thelong-term sequelae of ROP; 2) the molecular mechanismfor choroidal degeneration; and 3) the underlying cause of retinalfunction decline in ROP patients.

I currently serve as the Vice-Presidentof Clinician Investigator Trainee Association of Canada (CITAC) and theprinciple curator of Journeys Through Healthcare Art Exhibitionat McGill University. In the past, I served as the Finance Chair of CITAC andthe President of McGill Osler Society. 

My research is supported by Canadian Institutes ofHealth Research (CIHR) MD/PhD grant, Fonds de Suzanne Véronneau-Troutman andFonds de recherche du Québec- Santé (FRQS) award.
