Department of Medicine, McGill University, Montréal, Québec, Canada
My research focuses on Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a blinding eye disease that affects many premature infants. Specifically, I strive to understand: 1) the long-term sequelae of ROP; 2) the molecular mechanism for choroidal degeneration; and 3) the underlying cause of retinal function decline in ROP patients.
I currently serve as the Vice-President of Clinician Investigator Trainee Association of Canada (CITAC) and the principle curator of Journeys Through Healthcare Art Exhibition at McGill University. In the past, I served as the Finance Chair of CITAC and the President of McGill Osler Society.
My research is supported by Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) MD/PhD grant, Fonds de Suzanne Véronneau-Troutman and Fonds de recherche du Québec- Santé (FRQS) award.
